Veterinarian Accreditation Module

This module provides access to forms, requests, and functionality related to the National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP).  

Your user role determines how you can use this module:

• Veterinarians can use it to apply for accreditation and to view their profiles.

• NVAP Coordinators can use it to find a veterinarian, add oriented veterinarians, add an accredited veterinarian, create/edit federal actions, and create reports.
  
  
  

To access this module's functionality:

1. On the VSPS Home page, log into VSPS.

2. From the left menu, select Vet Accreditation.

3. In the Vet Accreditation Module:

• Click Find Vet.

This page provides ways to execute a search for a veterinarian. In the search results list, you can edit or view a veterinarian's accreditation status/certifications, contact information, and federal actions, or add a veterinary record.

• Click My Veterinarian Record.

This page provides ways for veterinarians to view their own records within VSPS. The records are organized using 6  tabs of information: Main, State Accreditations, Employment Details, Accreditation Renewal, Program Certification, and Confirm Contact Info. You cannot make changes directly within your veterinarian record; however, your record does have a feature: Apply Online, that can be used to make changes and submit them for approval.

• Click Reports.

This page provides access to reports related to the National Veterinary Accreditation Program.
