Interstate Module
An official health certificate is required to move live animals from one state to another state. As a Veterinarian, you will issue a health certificate containing information about all parties involved, an accurate description or identification of the animals, and the health status of each animal. Each state (destination) has regulations for each species of animals, referred to as protocols that must be satisfied before the animal will be allowed entry into the state. The state requirements identify the disease testing and vaccination requirements. All the information required to move the animal is collected and stored in VSPS. Using the information provided, you can generate the health certificate form that is required to move the animal
This module also provides some federal roles searches to create specific reports and tracking on the movement of those animals.
