Search/Unlock Barn and Stall Locks

This feature enables Animal Import Center staff to find and unlock a specific barn/stall space at their facility.

NOTES:

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

Some drop-down lists allow you to select multiple items by pressing and holding the CTRL key while highlighting each item.

Dates can usually be entered in two ways: using the Calendar , or entering them manually in the mm/dd/yyyy format.

Phone numbers: VSPS defaults to the U.S. country code of (1). If you are entering:

• a U.S. number, follow the country code of (1) with ten digits.

• a non-U.S. number, be sure to include the correct country code.

To access the Search/Unlock Barn and Stall Locks feature:

1. On the VSPS Home page, log into VSPS.

2. From the left menu, select Animal Import.  The Animal Import Module displays.

3. Select Import Center Reservation.  The Import Center Reservation Module displays.

4. Select Manage Space.  The Manage Space Module displays.

5. Select Manage Locks.  The Lock Barns and Stalls page displays.

6. On the Lock Barns and Stalls page, enter the following:

• Import Center * -  Name of your Animal Import Center.

• Barn/Stall * - Identifier code of the locked space that you want to unlock.
  (Note 1: You can select multiple spaces in this list.  See the NOTES section above on how to do this.)
  (Note 2: You can leave this field blank.  VSPS would then search for all locked spaces at your AIC.)

• BeginDate * - First day that the space was locked on (starting at 0:00 (midnight).)
  (Note: You can leave this field blank.  VSPS would then search for locked spaces on all dates at your AIC.)

• End Date* - Last day that the space was locked on (ending at 11:59 PM).)
  (Note: You can leave this field blank.  VSPS would then search for locked spaces on all dates at your AIC.)

7. Click the Search button.

8. A Search/Unlock Barn and Stall Locks page displays.

To unlock a space:

1. On the Search/Unlock Barn and Stall Locks page, scroll down to the Current Locks results list.

2. In the Action column of this list, click [unlock] next to the space that you want to unlock.

3. This message appears:  Quarantine barns/stalls have been unlocked.

4. Repeat Steps 2-3 above for each additional space that you want to unlock.

5. Recommended...Verify all your changes by generating and viewing a new Reservation Map.
