Create Animal

The Veterinarian, Veterinarian Assistant or Practice Members will need to enter information on animals in order to maintain records and use those records to create CVIs, Test Records and Import Requests ultimately providing a history of each animal.  This module is designed to be inclusive of all species and be a maintainable database of information for the practice (for individual animals as well as a group of animals).

If though you intend to use an animal, or group/lot of animals, one time (i.e. you do not anticipate wanting a history of this animal because of destination) you may not want to retain the animal information.  For single-time use do not enter the animal or group in your Animal Book, enter it when you add it to a CVI or Test Record, that way you will not clutter your Animal Book.
