Add, Edit or Search a Lab
As an AVIC or System Administrator, you are responsible to maintain the laboratory listings throughout VSPS.
To add, edit or search a lab:
On the VSPS Home page, log into VSPS.
From the left menu, select Administration. The Administration Module displays.
Click Maintenance. The Maintenance page displays.
Click Lab under the AVIC Administrator column. The Labs display.
Click (Search) to find a Lab that is already in VSPS.
Check the box to provide search results for on-line labs only.
The results of the search will display at the bottom of the page. You can now:
View all approved labs used throughout VSPS;
Click [Delete] to delete the lab;
Click [Edit Details] to edit the lab code or add or delete a disease;
Click [Edit Contact] to edit the contact information such as business name, address and phone numbers.
To (Add) a lab, complete the following:
Lab Name: Enter the complete and formal name of the lab.
Lab Code: Enter the code usually supplied from the NVSL.
Lab City: Enter the name of the city the lab resides.
State: From the drop-down menu, select the state.
Qualified For Disease: From the drop-down menu, select the disease the lab is approved to test.
New Lab Code: Enter the new VSPS lab code.
Click (Add).
